If you are a woman of the 3rd age, then you will know that life feels like it is full of ups, downs and challenges, as your body starts to change and your mind goes on a journey of self discovery.
At 45 I started to experience perimenopausal symptoms and was told by my Gynaecologist that everything he was doing, was making me worse and I should try complementary therapies.
I was a health professional, but I didn’t have a clue where to start; so I dedicated my time to finding answers and then training in various therapies, that helped my health and wellbeing journey.
Fast forward 7 years and I am passionate about empowering women to navigate this natural transition, so they come out feeling powerful, healthy and smiling.
So, how can I help you do this?
Well, I believe that we are not meant to function alone, but support and lift each other up, through good and bad times.
Years ago, women would have met together around the kitchen table, laughed, loved and mopped each other’s hot flushes, hugged and listened to one another non-judgementally.
When women are stressed, our coping mechanism is to tend and befriend, and we have been prevented from doing this properly, over the last two years.
We need to claim back our opportunity, to kick start our feel good hormones, by learning, listening, loving and lounging together again.
I would love for you to join me in a monthly meet-up, at my studio in Whitstable
When: 7.30-9pm The third Monday of each month
Cost: £9.99 per session, which includes refreshments
Book: Via this link to secure your place
Host: Tracey Allport of MOTH Therapies
This meeting is for you:
No matter what stage you are at in your reproductive journey.
If you would like to learn about perimenopause and menopause; to understand symptoms and treatment options.
Each month will focus on a different topic; for example, specific menopausal symptoms, sleep strategies, stress management, nutrition, movement, pelvic health, natural and medical treatment options, to name just a few!
So, if you are pre, peri, or post menopausal, and want to know what to expect, or understand why you are experiencing the many symptoms of peri/menopause and gain some ideas about what you can do to reduce your symptoms, this group is for you.
Any age is welcome; you just need a passion to support other women and empower yourself for good, so you can feel energised, fulfilled and full of joy, for this powerful stage of your life.
I look forward to meeting you!
